An explosion at an alleged meth lab caused a stir on a normally quiet suburban street, leading police to arrest a man in a hazmat suit.
Footage shows officers escorting the 31-year-old barefoot outside a property in Sydney’s southwest Canley Vale on Thursday, in handcuffs.
Fairfield City Police Area Command executed a search warrant at the home after being notified of an explosion in the area.
The man was found in the home and arrested.
He was put on a stretcher but refused to be taken to a hospital.

Officers instead took him to the back of a police car, where he was taken to Fairfield Police Station for questioning.
NSW fire and rescue crews and paramedics were also on the scene.
A crime scene has been identified at the property.
Specialized agents from the Chemical Operations Team of the State Crime Command’s Drug and Firearms Squad investigate.
