When he walks into a Kringle store and is surprised by a woman looking at the beautiful decorations, it is hinted that something could go wrong.

And it is.

Christmas turns into chaos. “This is crazy,” Murphy’s character says as Drake’s name is thrown out as part of a family joke.

Prime Video released the first looks of the film on Tuesday.

The studio shared a poster of the Oscar nominee holding a string of holiday lights and wearing a black turtleneck sweater with a graphic of Santa riding a unicorn.

“Don’t get carried away by the holiday magic,” the publicity department wrote alongside the photo on social media.

‘Candi Cane Lane premieres December 1st on Prime Video.’

It’s his first live-action holiday film in his 40+ year career.

The film reunited Eddie with Boomerang director Reginald.

The director described Eddie’s character, Chris Carver Peopleas a man who loves Christmas so much that he even gave his children Christmas-themed names.’

The children’s names are Holly, Joy and Nick.

When Chris is unexpectedly fired just before the holiday season, “he throws himself into winning his neighborhood’s Candy Cane Lane home decorating contest, which has a huge cash prize,” the director explained.

However, after finding an incredible 12 days of Christmas decorations that Chris was sure would put him ahead of the competition, he discovers that they have been cursed by a ‘purposeful elf named Pepper’, played by my own Gillian Bell.

‘Now instead of gaining everything, he could lose everything!’ the filmmaker explained.

The Cursed Ornaments are played by Nick Offerman, Chris Redd and Robin Ted.

“Nick Offerman plays a true English gentleman from another era, while Robin Thede plays a Kardashian-like high-powered shopper and Chris Redd is an ordinary working-class man,” explained the director.

“They don’t get along all that well, but they are allies in their urgent need to escape Pepper’s clutches.”

He described Pepper as someone who ‘coal in socks leads to absurdity.’

Ross, 50, plays Chris’ wife, Carol, who manages the family finances together and prepares for a promotion at the distribution center where she works as executive director.

“When Christmas and her family are threatened by supernatural forces, her mama bear instincts kick into full gear,” claims Reginald.
