Candice Warner reveals if she’s been in touch with Sonny Bill Williams since release of her tell-all
Candice Warner says she has had no contact with Sonny Bill Williams after she addressed her infamous “bathroom appointment” with the former rugby star in her new memoir, Running Strong, in 2007.
Candice’s name made headlines when she was photographed in 2007 in a bathroom appointment with Sonny Bill, 35, on a night out at the Clovelly Hotel.
Only 22 when the incident happened, she wrote in her book that she struggled with the public humiliation and subsequent fallout and was close to suicidal.
Speaking to Daily Mail Australia at her official book launch on Thursday, the former Ironwoman, 38, said she has not heard from Sonny Bill, 37, as they have both “moved on with their lives.”

Candice described writing her inspirational book, which details the highs and lows of her life, as a form of “therapy” and hopes she can “inspire others” and remind them that there is “light at the end”. of the tunnel’ is when it comes to facing the darkest times in life.

“I don’t know if it was hard, but it was like therapy — and something I had to do before moving on to the next phase of my life.”
Speaking of her “extremely supportive” husband of eight years David, Candice said nothing in the book came as a surprise to him since they know everything about each other.
“We support each other in everything,” she said.
She added that she has no qualms about being called a WAG as she doesn’t give much weight to the term as she is a mother, author, Ironwoman and much more.
“Personally, I am not offended by the term. I’m a mom, wife, working mom, it’s a label and I don’t think much about it,” she said.
She added that WAGs play a huge role in their partners’ lives.

“We really play a big role. They are away from home so much and we have to travel otherwise they can’t spend that time with their families,” she said.
Candice looked radiant at her book launch on Thursday, showing off her sensational figure in a black Effie Kats form-fitting dress, before donning an identical version of the dress in white for a beachside photoshoot.
Candice wore her freshly cut locks in beachy waves and a glamorous makeup palette.
Guests attending the launch included TV host and podcaster Jessica Rowe, former Biggest Loser trainer Michelle Bridges, and Married At First Sight couple Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant.
2DayFM star Dave Hughes was also in attendance, and fellow radio star Merrick Watts also did an intimate Q&A with Candice at the event.
