A 50-year-old woman accused of repeatedly sexually abusing her young granddaughter and posting the abusive material on TikTok remains on bail.
The woman, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared in court for a second time on Tuesday after being charged earlier this month with multiple crimes.
Her family members accompanied her to the ACT Magistrates Court, where she sat quietly while her legal representative asked for time to find an assigned Legal Aid lawyer.
Magistrate Ian Temby granted the woman, who will also need a Nepali interpreter in court, a three-week reprieve and said her bail conditions would continue until her next court appearance.
The woman was arrested on February 5 after police raided a house in south Canberra.

The 50-year-old woman appeared in ACT Magistrates Court (pictured) on Monday and her case was adjourned for three weekends.
She was charged with aggravated acts of indecency against a child under the age of 10, using a child to produce aggravated child abuse material, and using a transportation service for child abuse materials.
He was granted bail at the ACT Magistrates Court the following day.
The Australian Federal Police Child Protection Triage Unit began investigating the case after being alerted to recently produced child abuse material being uploaded to social media on 27 January.
The AFP said TikTok reported the material to the Australian Center to Counter Child Exploitation and subsequently assisted police with their investigation.
The investigation was handed over to the ACT Sexual Assault and Child Abuse team and the ACT Joint Child Exploitation Team prior to the woman’s arrest.
The case is due back in court on March 21.
