Canadian-Israeli woman, 22, is declared dead by her heartbroken family a week after she went missing in the Hamas terror attack on the Nova music festival

The family of a 22-year-old Canadian-Israeli woman says she is dead following the Hamas terror attack on the Israeli music festival last week.

Shir Georgy went missing after the barbaric ambush of the Tribe of Nova music festival in southern Israel.

For a week, her family hoped Shir would be found, but recently received the worst news from authorities who confirmed her murder.

Michal Bouganim, Georgy’s aunt, said the family is a devastated mess as he simultaneously prepares for the young woman’s funeral in Israel on Saturday evening.

In an Instagram post, Bouganim shared a photo of her niece with the caption: “My family has received the terrible news. It is with great sadness and heartbreak that we announce the murder of our beloved Shir.”

Her body was found in the nearby kibbutz Be’eri, a community that saw an unimaginable amount of carnage on October 7, when Palestinian terrorists went from house to house killing entire families.

Messages of support for the family began pouring in, including one from Canadian Conservative Party leader Pierre Poilievre, who wrote: “Thinking of the family and friends of Canadian-Israeli Shir Georgy, who was brutally murdered at the hands of the terrorist death cult, Hamas. .’

“May her memory be a blessing.”

George became the fourth Canadian confirmed killed in the Hamas terror attack that plunged the region into war and claimed the lives of 1,400 Israelis.

Also dead from the attack at the music festival were 22-year-old Ben Mizrachi of Vancouver, 33-year-old former Montreal resident Alexandre Look, and Adi Vital-Kaploun, a 33-year-old Israeli-Canadian with connections to Ottawa.

Since the terrorist organization Hamas, once democratically elected by the Palestinian people to lead Gaza, attacked Israel last Saturday, slaughtering some 1,400 Israelis and wounding at least 3,600, death tolls on both sides have risen.

The Gaza Health Ministry reported that the Palestinian death toll has risen above 2,300, a figure that is certain to rise if Gazans are not free to leave the area Israel has explicitly ordered them to leave.

The music festival attended was one of the first venues attacked by the terrorist group, with 260 revelers there massacred.

Destroyed cars and personal belongings are still strewn across the grounds of the Supernova Music Festival

Israel reported on Saturday that 258 of its soldiers had been killed so far.

As the partygoers of the Nova music festival danced in the sands of the Negev Desert at dawn, they were unaware of the horror that was about to come their way.

In one of the most chilling videos, filmed by a carefree reveler in the moments before joy turned to unspeakable fear, the paragliders simply appeared as innocent gray dots in the sky.

Flying into formation, the fleet of Falcon Squadron fighters flew low over the stunned partygoers and opened fire with machine guns on the frames and Kalashnikov rifles.

Some Hamas ‘pilots’ flew solo, others were in two-man planes.
