All of these crab-like Pokémon can be shiny, except for Crabrawler, which doesn’t have a shiny form pokemon go yet. Shiny Clauncher was actually just made available through the “Water Festival: Beach Week” event.
What is the shiny rate for Krabby, Kabuto, Corphish, and Clauncher in Pokémon Go?
The Shiny Speed for Pokémon on a normal day is about one in 500. None of the depicted Pokémon get a “permaboost” (meaning it is a rare spawn and thus gains an increased Shiny Speed), as far as we know.
What can I do to attract more Shiny Pokémon?
Not much, unfortunately. It seems to be a coincidence. Shiny Pokémon catch rates are determined by developer Niantic and usually only increase during special events like Community Days or Safari Zones, or in Legendary Raids. There are no consumables that increase the speed of Shiny Pokémon.
Where can I find a list of available Shiny Pokémon?
Leek Duck preserves a list of currently available Shiny Pokémon. It’s a handy visual guide that illustrates what all existing Shiny Pokémon look like.
