Cam’ron gloats that car crash CNN interview where he humilitated host Abby Phillip gave his sex drink ‘free promo’

Rapper Cam’ron has welcomed the fact that his new product has received free publicity after he humiliated CNN’s Abby Philip during a car crash interview.

Phillip appeared baffled during a disastrous interview with Cam’ron, real name Cameron Giles, as he didn’t seem to want to discuss the video of Diddy abusing Cassie Ventura.

On Tuesday, he explained, “They invited me on the show to talk about what’s going on with Diddy. My thing was they didn’t invite me to say how successful our show is or the positive things we’re doing in the community.

“We do all these positive things, but you call me on CNN for this nonsense**? I’ll give you the bullshit**. That’s exactly what’s going to happen.’

“We also got a free promo for Pink Horse Power,” the rapper said, referring to a “natural supplement” designed to boost men’s libido that he has promoted in the past.

Cam’ron was invited onto NewsNight to talk about the shocking Diddy clip, but at one point wondered out loud why he had been booked.

He admitted he was barely friends with Diddy, “don’t know how he moves,” and asked, “Who booked me for this?”

Things went even further when Cam’ron, 48, was asked by Phillip what his feelings were on Combs’ subsequent apology video.

“The apology isn’t for me, it’s for Cassie. He doesn’t do anything for me. What I think about it doesn’t matter. You should ask Cassie if she accepts the apology. I said what I said.’

In an attempt to get the interview back, Phillip glanced at her producer and then played a video of Cam’ron while fellow rapper Mase praised Diddy.

Phillip then tried to turn this into a question about whether Diddy’s behavior was known throughout the industry.

He took the opportunity to promote the drink and told her, “Sorry, I’m going to get some cheeks after this horsepower drink.”

“I don’t really know Puff like Mase knows Puff,” he continued.

“I appreciate what Mase said and of course that’s my brother, so if he felt that way, he felt that way. I can’t really tell you how Puff moves; Mase would know better than me.’

Undeterred, Phillip tried to ask Cam’ron about “the industry in general” and whether anyone in it had protected Diddy.

“Who’s the talent agent for this joint? Do you think I’m watching what Diddy does? I didn’t know this was a Diddy joint you guys invited me to. Who booked me for this place?’

Phillip then left the interview, to which Cam’ron replied, “Thanks for having me.”

Cam’ron later said it best when he wrote on Instagram ‘f*** they invite me on CNN for?’

DailyMail.com has contacted CNN for comment.

Phillip asked him, “Do you recognize the man in that video?” to which he responded that he finds everything Diddy is accused of, including the clip, “egregious” and things he doesn’t support, saying he knows him but isn’t necessarily a friend

Cam’ron is no stranger to scandalous behavior or controversy with CNN. In 2014, he started selling Ebola masks with his own face on them, and in 2016 he launched his own line of toilet paper.

In 2018, while performing with hip-hop group The Diplomats, they caused outrage by wearing military-style ribbons on stage.

Most famously, Cam’Ron voiced his support for the “Stop Snitching” movement during a performance with Anderson Cooper in 2007. He ultimately apologized for his comments.

The rapper went platinum in 2002 with his album Come Home with Me, which spawned the Top 5 hits “Oh Boy” and “Hey Ma.”

His most recent album was Purple Haze 2 from 2019. The Diplomats last released an album in 2018.

In 2023, Cam’ron and Mase launched the show It Is What It Is, a largely sports-oriented talk show.

This week, shocking surveillance footage emerged of Diddy violently attacking his ex-girlfriend Cassie at a Los Angeles hotel in 2016.

The video, obtained by CNN, shows the shirtless rapper with a towel wrapped around his waist as he chases Cassie down the hallway of the InterContinental Hotel in Century City.

When she tried to get into an elevator, he grabbed her by the back of the head and knocked her to the ground.

He then kicked her as she lay motionless on the ground, before grabbing the two designer bags she had tried to escape with.

Diddy stood over her, kicked her again and then dragged her by the hoodie back to their room.

The 54-year-old rapper apologized on Instagram on Sunday morning, saying: “I’ve hit rock bottom, but I’m not making excuses.”

Diddy looked into the camera and said, “So hard to think about the darkest times in your life, sometimes you have to do that. I had enough of it.

“I mean I’ve hit rock bottom, but I’m not making excuses, my behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video, I’m disgusted by it.

‘I was disgusted when I did it then, and I’m still disgusted by it now. I went and sought professional help, I started going to therapy, going to rehab.

“I had to ask God for his mercy and grace. I’m very sorry. But I am determined to be a better man every day. I’m not asking for forgiveness, I’m truly sorry.”

Sources said Diddy went to rehab after the 2016 incident and continues to seek both therapy and spiritual work.
