A teenager who was killed in an accident that injured four of his friends has been identified, as he was revealed to be part of a group that tried to rip off a drug dealer moments earlier.
Seth Edwards Perrin, 18, was a passenger in the Holden Commodore when it crashed into a tree near Cammeray, on Sydney’s lower north shore, on Nov. 13.
The car had reportedly reached speeds of 150 km/h as it gave police a wild chase before seriously injuring the four other occupants.
Police revealed that Perrin was with a group of people who organized to meet a teenage drug dealer before attempting to rob him half an hour before the crash.

Police allege that a group of people attacked a 17-year-old boy outside a house in Wollstonecraft at 4pm. The Daily Telegraph reported.
The group then fled and a bystander called triple zero to give police a description of the car speeding away.
Police then chased the Holden Commodore, but pulled away after crossing the wrong side of the road.
A 16-year-old girl was reportedly behind the wheel of the vehicle when it subsequently crashed into a tree and caught fire.
Perrin suffered multiple serious injuries and was treated at the Royal North Shore Hospital, but tragically passed away on Thursday night.
The driver and three other passengers — a 16-year-old girl and two 17-year-old boys — remain in hospital, all reportedly in stable condition.

Devastated friends and family have paid tribute to Perrin, describing him as “nice” and a “great friend.”
“I knew him growing up… he was a good friend and always so nice to everyone. But I haven’t seen him since he moved,” someone said.
Perrin showed off expensive designer clothes on his Facebook with several photos showing him wearing a Gucci hat and bag – a common sight among eshays.
NSW Police Superintendent Paul Devaney revealed that the alleged 16-year-old driver was unlicensed.
He said he was “convinced we would have had a fatal accident” if police and the public had not helped drag the five teens out of the vehicle and provide first aid.
He implored any eyewitnesses or anyone with CCTV or dash cam footage of the fight or chase and accident to come forward.
“This was a horrific incident that will likely have lifelong consequences for all involved,” he said.
