The film is based on the book The Short and Tragic Life of Robert Peace by Jeff Hobbs, which was published in 2014.
The feature film centers on a young man who fights his way out of a dangerous lifestyle to attend Yale before becoming entangled in New Jersey’s criminal underworld.
