Cameron Daddo and Alison Brahe have admitted that they are back in therapy to do some maintenance on their relationship.
The couple discussed the status of their marriage on their Separate bathrooms podcast this week.
“We recently went back to couples therapy,” the 58-year-old actor said in a clip on Instagram.
“For me it’s like you said, our relationship is at 11. I’m very happy with where we are now,” he told his wife.
“But I also think that’s because we’ve chosen to jump back into a minor overhaul. That support felt good.’

The model, 53, agreed: ‘We’ve done so much therapy too, sometimes we can get lost in the details of little things that feel like they’re big things.
“We actually have a really good relationship, let’s not throw everything out, throw the baby out with the bathwater. And go ahead, this part definitely needs attention’.
Alison continued, ‘Having that therapist there guys is really great, the way you talk to each other and the way you listen.
“We’re doing really well, we just need to work on reconnecting, little things.”
Cameron echoed the sentiment, saying the couple just needed some “tweaks.”

The power couple have been open about their marital problems in the past, discussing how they rebuilt their marriage after Cameron cheated in 1994.
Brahe told the The Sydney Morning Herald that her relationship with Daddo “evolved the most” during marriage counseling after his infidelity.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing though, with the mother-of-three admitting she had “a horrible experience” with their first therapist.
“It’s so important to find the right therapist for you. The one we found was our second choice, as the first one was a horrible experience,” Alison said.
But once they found a decent counselor, “they both wanted the relationship to work, so that was a good starting point.”
Daddo recently spoke about hurting his wife by cheating on her three years after getting married in 1991.
“We’re doing really well, we just need to work on reconnecting, little things,” Alison said
The Australian actor discussed his marriage on The separate bathrooms of Nova FM podcast and admitted that it’s important to “learn how to apologize.”
“We were told by Pastor Brian that he married us. He said you’re going to hurt your partner the most of anyone in your life.”
“In my case, it’s probably true,” said an emotional Cameron.
So it’s a good idea to learn to apologize, mean it, and then take the necessary actions so you don’t repeat it. That’s a good lesson,” he added.
Alison said the couple had “a hell of a lot of work to do” before they could finally get to a happy place.
“I was the one who left the marriage,” Cameron told Woman’s Day, clarifying that he had been unfaithful, not Alison.

His infidelity took place in America, after he moved there for his acting career.
Alison admitted that their marriage wasn’t exactly “set goals,” but they worked on it and are better off now.
“You don’t get to 28 years of marriage without an awful lot of work and struggles — and quite a bit of pain and tears,” she said.
In a blog post for dad website The Father Hood, Daddo blamed alcohol for his infidelity.
“When I acted like that, I didn’t really want to be there,” he said.
“There were reasons why I ended up in that place. And a lot of that was alcohol and being alone, feeling really lonely and literally being oceans away from my partner.”
The star said he and Alison both received counseling to fix their marriage, and the experience ended up being something they could grow from.
