Mauricio Pochettino appeared to respond with five words after Chelsea controversially disallowed a late goal against Aston Villa.

The Blues fell behind due to an early own goal from Marc Cucurella and a goal from Morgan Rogers just before half-time.

But they fought back strongly and were rewarded when Noni Madueke and Conor Gallagher drew the game.

Chelsea thought they had made an unlikely comeback when Axel Disasi headed the ball in in the 97th minute.

However, the jubilant celebrations were briefly interrupted when a VAR review noted a foul in the build-up to the goal.

Benoit Badiashile appeared to push Diego Carlos in the back as the ball fell into the penalty area, before crossing the ball to Disasi in front of goal.

The TNT cameras then panned to Pochettino, who had his arms outstretched in protest and he appeared to ask ‘what the fuck is this?’.

The Argentinian has come under intense criticism this week after his side were beaten 5-0 by London rivals Arsenal in midweek.

He slammed VAR after the match, claiming it has ‘damaged English football’.

“We have to explain this to the people,” Pochettino said. ‘I don’t want to talk bad about the referee, but it’s unbelievable, it’s ridiculous.

‘It’s really painful because it damaged English football and its image, and even the Aston Villa players and fans didn’t understand why.

“He (the referee) said it was a foul and when you see the challenge, it’s a challenge. If every challenge like this is a foul, we won’t end up with 11 players in any match.”

Pochettino wasn’t the only one outraged by the decision to rule out Disasi’s goal, as Noni Madueke had to be dragged off by the coaching staff and his teammates after complaining to referee Craig Pawson.

The winger was shown a yellow card for his complaints as emotions ran high as he was dragged away from the referee by a number of the club’s coaches and his teammates.
