Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was in stitches during the closing stages of his team’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons as cameras caught him making an X-rated comment.
The Cowboys had high expectations entering the season, including a possible trip to the Super Bowl after finishing as the NFC’s No. 2 seed last year.
After Sunday’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the Cowboys are 3-5, and Prescott himself left the game with a hamstring injury that team owner Jerry Jones was “concerned” about.
As cameras panned to Prescott on the sideline without his helmet on, he leans toward a teammate and says, “We suck.”
That is not the most inspiring message from the leader in the locker room halfway through the regular season.

The Cowboys are currently 3.5 games behind their archrivals, the Washington Commanders, for the NFC East lead.
Things aren’t looking much better for Dallas either, as they likely won’t be favored in any of the next three games.
Between now and the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Day matchup with the New York Giants, they will face the Eagles, Texans and Commanders, all of whom are currently in projected playoff fields in their conferences.
Prescott will undergo an MRI on Monday to determine the extent of his injury, with a possible timeout from the Cowboys lineup an option.
Cooper Rush is Prescott’s backup and threw 13 completions on 25 attempts and a touchdown against Atlanta.
With Prescott’s long-term future in Dallas locked in, things will have to change quickly if he wants to stay happy.
