Cameraman takes a brutal slip in the rain while trying to film Michigan celebrations against Alabama
A young cameraman filming Michigan’s victory over Alabama on New Year’s Eve took a hilarious fall on the rain-soaked field.
Michigan earned a 19-13 victory over No. 11 Alabama in the ReliaQuest Bowl in Tampa, Florida.
The Wolverines have now defeated the Crimson Tide twice in 2024: on New Year’s Day and New Year’s Eve.
With 8:10 left in the first quarter, Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe fumbled with the ball and it was recovered to Michigan. Derrick Moore.
That led to wild celebrations among the Wolverines players in Alabama’s end zone, with an ESPN cameraman running to capture the scenes on his phone.
But as the Michigan players approached, he lost his balance and fell on his back. A clip of his fall – and the failed footage he captured – later appeared on social media.
