Caloundra State High School stabbing: Student stabbed on Sunshine Coast

A school has been placed on lockdown after a student was stabbed and a girl was taken into custody.
The schoolboy was stabbed at Caloundra State High School on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast at 10am on Tuesday.
He was taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital with injuries to his hip.
His injuries are not life-threatening and were described as “superficial”, a Queensland Ambulance spokesperson said.
The girl has been taken into custody.
Another girl from the school is assisting the police in their investigation.
Several police cars were seen driving to and from the school.
Officers have said there is no further threat to public safety now that they have the suspect in custody.
