California man hospitalized after violent fight with neighbor over Trump flag outside his home

A California man ended up in the hospital after an argument with his neighbor ended are Donald Trump flag.

John Muder of Orange County said his neighbor recently had his outdoor sign belonging to Kamala Harris and Tim Waltz stolen.

Muder thinks the neighbor assumed he was the one who took it away because of his pro-Trump display.

He told it FOX 11: “He thought it was me because I have my Trump sign, which is the furthest thing from the truth.”

The next thing Muder knew, Trump’s banner hanging over the garage of his Ladera Ranch home was missing.

Suspecting that this may have been an act of misdirected retaliation, he checked the trash of the neighbor who supported Harris and discovered that his flag had been placed in it.

“I was standing on the sidewalk,” Muder told the outlet. “I knew he had a Ring camera thing, so I said, ‘Hey, can you stay off my property?’ I left. It was probably not more than 10 or 15 minutes later that he came to my house screaming and yelling.”

Surveillance footage captured the heated argument between the two men.

That’s when the Trump supporter said the situation took a violent turn.

He claimed his neighbor attacked him in his garage and left him there “to die.”

Muder explained, “He knocked me out. I have a massive brain hemorrhage in the back of my head. I got kicked in the face, I think.

‘There was massive blood. He basically left me there alone to survive.”

Muder said he suffered a “cerebral hemorrhage” and has been in the hospital for three days with a concussion.

“He could be dead right now and this man wouldn’t care,” his wife Lourdes Barrueto told FOX 11. “All because we have a Trump flag.”

Muder told the newspaper: “I simply cannot believe the violence this man was referring to. For what? A flag? Are you kidding?

“If you’re willing to hurt someone because of a political view, you need some serious help.”

Police confirmed to FOX 11 that they arrested someone from a Ladera Ranch home for an altercation. He was arrested on assault and battery charges.

The neighbor was reportedly released from jail on bail.

This was one of many politically driven feuds that emerged just before Election Day.

For example, Algoma, Wisconsin, is the most “politically divided America” and is torn apart by locals fighting over politics.

The dividing line in ‘friendly’ Algoma is so deep that it even runs between man and woman.

The city of 3,200 residents has always been fiercely contested, but this election has ratcheted up the tension even further.

Residents have engaged in shouting matches in the streets and even say they fear being “shot” for expressing their political allegiance too openly.

Meanwhile, the intersection between the homes of two politically opposing neighbors has become so overrun with competing campaign signs that it’s been dubbed the “crazy corner.”

Dennis Paul, a Republican, and Abbey Bridges, a Democrat, recently became embroiled in an online feud that spilled over into the real world when Paul, 65, began hurling insults at Bridges, 40, as she walked her dog, the New York Times reported.

Bridges eventually called the police after claiming Paul had threatened her, which he denied.

She has resorted to keeping her sunglasses closed to avoid further confrontation.

“He called me a bunch of things that really didn’t make sense,” she told the outlet. “Now I avoid him like the plague.”
