A teenage girl is fighting for her life after a horrific car accident killed her parents and two siblings.
Emma Lourenco, 19, is the sole survivor of the collision that killed her parents Daniel and Jennifer, 44 and 45, as well as her sister Madelynn, 16, and brother Matthew, 14.
The family was on their way to church on Sunday, December 15, when a speeding car collided with their Jeep as they crossed an intersection in Turlock, California.
Her parents were killed in the first crash alongside the driver who collided with them, 22-year-old Uriel Guizar Negrete.
Emma and her siblings were all rushed to hospital, where Madelynn and Matthew both later died from their injuries.
Speak with First warning 4said her uncle Jason McLelland, “We are still asking for prayers and thoughts.
“Our eldest niece, who is still fighting in the hospital, will probably require a lot of long-term care.”
McLelland, Jennifer’s brother, said his sister was a teacher at Sinclear Elementary School and was named teacher of the year in 2023 and 2024.

He added: “Jennifer just had the ability to reach people and see the best side and bring out the best side of them.
‘Daniel was the best husband. He raised a great family with all good kings. Maddie had a smile that just lit up the room.
“She was the social butterfly of that family. Matthew was just a crazy kid in a great way. He loved football. This year he just started running cross country, and he loved it.
“He ran with his heart and soul and really tried to get better. Whatever it was, he always wanted to push himself.”
McLelland has said the family planned to donate Matthew’s organs GoFundMe is also being established to assist with funeral expenses and medical expenses.
In a post on the fundraising page, which has raised more than $89,000 to date, family friend Stephanie Wallace said Emma was slowly coming out of an induced coma.
Wallace said her breathing tube was removed and she was taken off life support machines and woke up briefly.

In a statement, the Ceres Unified School District remembered Jennifer as a “gifted and dedicated educator.”
They said: ‘As we continue to cope with this unimaginable tragedy, our thoughts go out to the members of the Lourenco family and their loved ones.
‘Madam. Lourenco was a moderate to severe teacher at Sinclear Elementary School and was Sinclear’s 2023-2024 Teacher of the Year.”
It continued: ‘She was a gifted and dedicated teacher and a much-loved colleague whose loss will be deeply felt throughout the school community.’
