“I am heartbroken to announce that my mother passed away peacefully yesterday morning,” Jenner wrote.

“Losing a mother is unique in that she is the only person who has loved me all my life. I will miss her immensely.

“She was a few weeks short of 97 and living a full life. love you mom.’

Caitlyn Marie Jenner is a former Olympic gold medal-winning decathlete.

Jenner played college football for the Graceland Yellowjackets before suffering a knee injury that required surgery.

Jenner went on to become a reality TV star with Keeping Up With The Kardashians and later, I Am Cait.

She had spunk: “I am heartbroken to announce that my mother passed away peacefully yesterday morning,” Jenner wrote

On their show: “Losing a mother is unique in the sense that she is the only person who has loved me all my life. I will miss her terribly,” Cait said

Very close: Esther said last year that she talked to her daughter every day

Esther welcomed Caitlyn in 1949, to Mount Kisco, New York, with her husband as William Bruce Jenner, who was originally from New Brunswick, Canada.

In 2022, Esther made headlines when she said she was not a fan of the Hulu series The Kardashians.

“I think that Kardashian show is the most pointless thing I’ve ever seen,” Esther told US Sun.

“But my two granddaughters, Kendall and Kylie, made it and I love them dearly.

‘They are my blood. And my four step-grandchildren — Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, and Robert — feel like they belong to me too.”

Caitlyn was not asked to join The Kardashians.

They had a connection: Kylie said on I Am Cait that she wanted to be a young mother like her grandmother Esther was

They lost a grandmother: Kylie and Kendall are seen here at the 2023 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March

‘I do not know if [Caitlyn] even cares. It’s something we haven’t even talked about yet,” she said.

Esther said at the time that she was very close to Caitlyn: “We talk probably three or four times a week. I have to live with whatever decisions are made [she] creates and supports [her] in whatever [she] chooses to do. I’m not in control,’ Esther added.

After the interview ended, Cait’s rep told PageSix that Esther was not in her senses.

Caitlyn’s 96-year-old mother is senile. She lives alone in a house. Caitlyn has 24/7 armed security at all times and is not afraid for her safety. Any comments regarding the Kardashian and Jenner kids are that woman’s own opinion and were hurtful to Caitlyn to read about in the press.”
