Caitlyn Jenner blasts trans activists who ‘attacked’ swimmer Riley Gaines as the ‘Rainbow Mafia’

Caitlyn Jenner denounced trans activists who “attacked” swimmer Riley Gaines as the “radical rainbow mafia” — as she claimed Joe Biden was erasing “women in sports” by allowing transgender women to compete in women’s competitions.

Jenner, 73, appeared on Fox News Saturday to defend the 22-year-old swimmer, who claimed she was beaten twice during a protest by trans activists at San Francisco State University after a lecture last week about saving women’s rights.

Gaines, who is an open advocate of banning women’s sports for men born male, previously told DailyMail.com that she was forced to barricade himself away from a vengeful mob of about 100 protesters for three hours.

The transgender reality star denounced the attackers for giving the transgender community a bad name, calling them “terrorists.”

“I think it’s disgusting and so bad. It’s such bad publicity for the trans community, there are so many good people out there. But I call this the ‘Radical Rainbow Mafia’. They are leftist activists. They’re domestic terrorists,” Jenner said.

The former Olympic star supports transgender rights and “fairness,” but has openly advocated excluding women’s sports born male.

Jenner later added that the US will kill female leagues if officials allow trans women born male to compete.

She specifically pointed to President Joe Biden for trying to “wipe out women” while insisting she was for fairness, not “equality.”

Joe Biden is trying to erase women. He’s trying to erase women in sports because if he goes through what he’s trying to get through, it will mean the end of women in sports. And that’s a shame because women’s sports have come so far in this country and Joe Biden is trying to kill it,” Jenner said.

“I mean, we’re trying to do everything we can to make women’s sport better and fairer, because this is about fairness. I’m about fairness, not equality…not fairness.’

In 2015, Jenner, who says she’s a conservative libertarian, came out publicly as a trans woman in a Vanity Fair article titled, “Call Me Caitlyn.”

Jenner famously won a gold medal in the men’s decathlon at the 1976 Montreal Olympics as Bruce. She also won gold in the same competition at the 1975 Pan American Games in Mexico City.

Jenner appears to be a strong supporter of women and recently criticized Nike for using trans TikTok star Dylan Mulvaney to promote its sports bras years after the company mistreated model Allyson Felix when she became pregnant.

Mulvaney, 26, posed for a series of photos and videos promoting the brand’s sports bra and leggings.

The TikTok star identifies as female and uses the pronouns “she/it,” but has not yet undergone sex reassignment surgery.

Jenner did not hesitate to share her opinion on Twitter on Thursday and called the collaboration a “scandal”.

She wrote, “As someone who grew up in awe of what [Nike founder and former CEO] Phil Knight did, it’s a shame to see such an iconic American company wake up like this!

“We can be inclusive, but not at the expense of the mass majority of people, and have some decency while being inclusive. This is a disgrace.’

Jenner added that she didn’t blame Mulvaney for accepting the deal, saying, “A bit of context… I’ve worked with H&M (I’ve worked with athletic brands a lot over the years as a successful athlete) . I don’t blame Dylan (smart move).

“I didn’t like how Nike treated Allyson Felix when she got pregnant. I spoke about the outrage of inequality in their pay’

Jenner has never been shy about speaking publicly about her feelings about trans women competing against biological women.

In August, she slammed trans swimmer Lia Thomas for wanting to compete in the Olympics, saying she has “a huge advantage over the girls.”

The former Olympic champion criticized Thomas’ desire to race against female swimmers, saying: ‘We have to keep it fair for women’.

She added that it was “just not fair” to other competitors as she has already gone through puberty as a man and her Olympic quest “makes the trans community look selfish.”

Thomas, who turned from male to female during college, has been criticized for participating in women’s swimming events after undergoing hormone replacement therapy.

Jenner previously spoke out about Thomas in March 2022, beating her record wins at college swimming competitions, sparking claims that the trans athlete had an extreme advantage as a result of going through male puberty.

Jenner told DailyMail.com last year, “I respect her right to transition and I hope she has a great, great life. But she grew up as a biological boy and I don’t think it’s fair for her to play women’s sports.’

Jenner continued, “Three years earlier she was on the men’s team ranked 462; now she is number 1 in the same event for women? It’s clearly not fair.’
