Caitlin Clark’s boyfriend and brother have both voiced their opinions on the latest WNBAs — liking tweets criticizing the Indiana star’s rival Angel Reese.
Clark was brutally checked by Chennedy Carter during the Fever’s long-awaited victory over the Chicago Sky on Saturday, before Reese jumped off the bench to applaud the incident.
The moment sparked huge controversy and sparked a huge backlash online, with two of Clark’s biggest supporters seemingly voicing their opinions on the matter.
Clark is dating her college sweetheart Connor McCaffery, and fans noticed that he frequently ‘liked’ posts criticizing Reese over the past year.
In one post, Barstool Sports’ Dave Portnoy calls Reese a “classless piece of s***” after her infamous ring party at Clark’s during their college years.

In another post, McCaffery liked a post that referred to Reese as “highkey not good… she’s just bigger than everyone.”
There is also a third post involving Clark and Reese sharing college basketball’s Athlete of the Year award.
The message – endorsed by McCaffery – denounces the decision to give both players the title and not just Clark “because the publication fears internet outrage.”
Clark’s brother Colin hasn’t been afraid to make his own feelings clear either, liking a tweet in which Reese “jumped off the couch to stage a parade for Caitlin Clark’s murder.”
In another, he liked a tweet claiming Draymond Green would have received “jail time” if he had done what Carter did to Clark in the Fever-Sky match.
The on-field controversy has sparked huge debate online, and will only increase as the high-profile pair continue their professional careers.
Clark was selected No. 1 overall in May’s WNBA Draft, while Reese – an NCAA champion last year at LSU – went No. 7 to Chicago.
In Saturday’s game, Clark ultimately had the last laugh as her team held on for a one-point victory. The 71-70 win was the team’s first home win of the season.
There were 15 seconds left in the third quarter and when time ran out, Clark gave her response to ESPN immediately afterward.

“I’m not answering questions from Caitlin Clark,” Carter said on stage after the match
“That’s just not a basketball game, but I have to play through it, that’s what basketball at this level is about,” she said.
Afterwards, Carter declined to talk about the incident or why she lashed out at her opponent.
When asked by a reporter during the post-match press conference, she said, “I don’t answer Caitlin Clark’s questions.
‘I don’t know what she said. I said nothing.’
