Caitlin Clark has hilarious response to bizarre ‘razzmatazz’ question at Indiana Fever press conference
WNBA star Caitlin Clark didn’t know what to say after being asked a bizarre question following the Indiana Fever’s win over the Dallas Wings.
Clark made history last week with the 100-93 victory in Arlington, becoming the first WNBA player to record 25 points and 10 assists in consecutive regular-season games.
That came a few days after she excelled against rival Angel Reese, recording a personal best of 31 points and 12 assists in the win over Chicago Sky.
During a press conference after the match against Dallas, Clark was asked in her own unique way how the match had gone compared to her expectations.
“After giving the skyscrapers of the Windy City such a spectacle on Friday night, what was the biggest match you were expecting to see today against the dynamos of Big D?” asked a reporter.
WNBA star Caitlin Clark was left speechless after being asked a bizarre question
Clark sat open-mouthed for a moment until a member of the Fever staff broke the silence. “Next question,” they said before Clark had to answer.
The Indiana Fever suffered their first loss in six games on Friday night despite the sensational rookie breaking yet another WNBA record.
Clark scored 25 points as the Fever lost 99-88 to the Minnesota Lynx, who were also the last team to beat them on August 24.
Although Indiana’s winning streak is over, their new sensation still managed to set a new franchise record by making her 103rd three-pointer of the season.
No other player in Fever history has ever made more than 102 three-pointers in a single season, and Clark needs to improve her total in five more regular-season games.
