Caitlin Clark falls to 1-7 with the Fever despite racking up game-high 30 points and eight turnovers in defeat to Cameron Brink and the Sparks
Despite scoring a team-high 30 points, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever fell to 1-7 on the season and have yet to win a game at home after an 84-75 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks.
In a battle of the top two overall picks in this year’s WNBA Draft, No. 1 overall Clark got the better of No. 2 overall Cameron Brink in every aspect except the win-loss column.
Brink scored just three points, along with three rebounds, two assists, one steal and two blocks.
Meanwhile, Clark’s 30 points were paired with five rebounds, five assists, three steals and three blocks.
But Clark’s ball protection issues reared their heads again as she committed seven turnovers that night.
