Caitlin Clark continues her incredible year by scooping ESPY Award for Best College Athlete at glitzy LA event – and there could be more to come tonight

Indiana Fever rookie Caitlin Clark won the ESPY for Outstanding College Athlete – Women’s Sport.

During the ESPYs Red Carpet Show on Thursday, the WNBA sensation earned her second ESPY, after winning the same award in 2023.

Clark’s stellar collegiate career at the University of Iowa gave her a better chance than her fellow nominees: LSU gymnast Haleigh Bryant, Wisconsin volleyball player Sarah Franklin and Northwestern lacrosse player Izzy Scane.

The Fever guard’s run with the Hawkeyes could earn her two more ESPYs. Clark is nominated for Best Athlete in Women’s Sports alongside tennis star Coco Gauff, golf sensation Nelly Korda and reigning WNBA Finals MVP A’ja Wilson of the Las Vegas Aces.

Additionally, Clark is nominated for best record-breaking performance for breaking Pistol Pete Maravich’s all-time NCAA scoring record.
