Caitlin Clark BLOCKS Antonio Brown on social media after former NFL player makes vulgar claim about WNBA star… in latest viral episode involving college basketball trailblazer
Former NFL All-Pro wide receiver and current internet provocateur Antonio Brown has been blocked by WNBA CEO Caitlin Clark over a crude comment he made about her on social media.
Brown appeared to try to make several jokes at Clark’s expense, but they only led to her blocking the former wide receiver on Twitter.
The recipient didn’t give up and named her his “Cracker of the Day” while calling her “Cousin It” – a nod to an Addams Family character.
It’s not the first time Brown’s antics have led to people blocking him – with his former quarterback Tom Brady and President Joe Biden restricting the ex-Pittsburgh Steeler from their timeline.
Clark was at the center of a media frenzy this week after being selected first overall by the Indiana Fever in the WNBA Draft on Monday night.

Clark has faced plenty of strange comments following this week’s WNBA Draft – including during her introductory press conference on Wednesday afternoon
But there are also positives this week: Clark signed a huge deal with Nike
After stepping out in her Prada outfit and being singled out, she has been the subject of praise, messages of support and the creepy and controversial admiration of a reporter.
Gregg Doyel of the Indianapolis Star apologized after suggesting that he and Clark would “get along” if she gave him a celebratory heart gesture during games.
“Today in my uniquely silly way, as I welcomed @CaitlinClark22 to Indy, I cupped my hands in her signature [hand heart emoji,’ Doyel posted to Twitter on Wednesday.
‘My comment afterward was clumsy and awkward. I sincerely apologize. Please know my heart (literally and figuratively) was well-intentioned. I will do better.’
But it hasn’t been all creepy comments from men that have gotten Clark attention – there’s been plenty of positive media as well.
That includes the revelation that she’s set to sign an eight-figure deal with Nike that will land her a signature shoe.
Clark will be the third active WNBA player with their own signature shoe, joining Sabrina Ionescu and Breanna Stewart of the New York Liberty.
President Joe Biden even spoke highly of Clark, and added that the $76,535 salary she’ll earn in her first year in the league is an example of how ‘women are not paid their fair share.’
