Caitlin Clark attends the first night of Taylor Swift’s Eras Tour show in Indianapolis on Friday.
WNBA’s biggest star shared a post from her seat at Lucas Oil Stadium with the caption, “I’M FIRED UP!!!”
Clark wears number 22 for Indiana Fever – the number is also the name of one of Swift’s most famous songs.
Photos soon emerged on social media of Clark exchanging friendship bracelets from her VIP box with fans lucky enough to be seated nearby. It looked like her boyfriend, Connor McCaffery, joined her suit.
Clark shared another photo to her story during the show itself, showing Swift signing the song “Enchanted.” With the click, she put on a crying emoji.

Swift’s three shows in Indianapolis this weekend will be her last Eras shows in America
Both Clark and Swift were named this week by TIME magazine to its list of “Inspiring Women” in the publication’s special edition, with the pair both pictured on the cover.
It’s not the first Eras show Clark has attended; she also saw Swift play in Minneapolis in June 2023.
Clark’s fandom for Swift is well known, and the basketball star also liked Swift’s post in October supporting Kamala Harris for the election, which takes place next week.
However, she denied that her ‘like’ was also a show of support, saying: ‘I have a great platform, so I think the most important thing would be to encourage people to register to vote.
“That’s the biggest thing I can do with the platform I have and that’s the same thing Taylor (Swift) did.
“Continue to educate yourself about the candidates we have, the policies they support – I think that’s the biggest thing you can do. And that is what I would recommend to anyone who gets the opportunity in our country.’
That said, her boyfriend McCaffrey has posted several times on Instagram in support of Harris.
Moreover, in addition to being a Swiftie, Clark is also a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs – the team that Swift’s friend Travis Kelce plays for.
Swift and Kelce made their relationship public in September 2023 when the singer joined Kelce’s mother in a box to watch Chiefs vs Chicago Bears.
That same day, Clark tweeted: “Taylor Swift welcome to the good side #chiefskingdom.”

Friday was also a big day for Clark’s WNBA career when her Indiana Fever squad announced that Stephanie White had become the team’s new head coach.
Clark shared the announcement on her social media, commenting under Fever’s post: “Fevvv showwwww.”
The 22-year-old Clark has taken interest in the WNBA to a new level in her rookie season after being the first overall pick in the 2024 WNBA Draft.
Indiana Fever sold out several NBA arenas as fans flocked to see her in action as her team made the playoffs before losing to the Connecticut Sun.
Clark’s rivalry with Angel Reese, who was drafted seventh overall by the Chicago Sky, was also a major talking point as the duo’s clashes stemmed from their college days.
As for Swift, this weekend marks her final run of Eras Tour shows in the United States.
After these three shows in Indianapolis, she has a series of dates in Canada that will take her into early December, after which one of the most iconic tours in music comes to a close.
