Queensland police have declared an exclusion zone as an “emergency” occurs in the state’s far north.
Police responded to reports of a disturbance at a property in Bungalow, Cairns, shortly after 10.30am on Friday.

Little Spence St, Buchan St, Kidston St and Hartley St are marked as exclusion zone boundaries under the Public Safety Preservation Act.
The public has been advised to avoid the area.
