On Wednesday, a 30-year-old man, known to the woman, was charged with murder.

The incident comes just a month after a man was charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a 27-year-old man he knew, also along Roe Place.

Located along the 22 kilometer long white sand beach of the same name, Cable Beach is a popular tourist spot in the remote Kimberley region.
