A man has been charged with murder after a woman was found fatally injured at a popular seaside resort on Western Australia's Kimberley Coast on Christmas Day.
Police said the woman, in her 30s, was found with serious head injuries at Roe Place on Cable Beach, northeast of Broome, at around 6pm on Monday.
She received medical treatment at the scene, but later died in hospital from her injuries.

A crime scene was established and a man in his 30s was taken into police custody for questioning.
On Wednesday, a 30-year-old man, known to the woman, was charged with murder.
He is due to appear at Broome Magistrates Court on Thursday.
The incident comes just a month after a man was charged with murder after allegedly stabbing a 27-year-old man he knew, also along Roe Place.
Located along the 22 kilometer long white sand beach of the same name, Cable Beach is a popular tourist spot in the remote Kimberley region.
