Buy Baldur’s Gate 3 this weekend for the lowest price yet

Baldurs Gate 3 continues to reign as one of the best RPGs of all time. Even at full price, we called it gaming’s best deal – something you can easily sink hundreds of hours into and still see more of after multiple playthroughs. The game has evolved since its release with a number of free, content-rich updates, including This week’s patch 7 which added new evil endings, an in-game mod manager, and improved split-screen gameplay.

This weekend, Larian Studios is offering deep discounts on its entire portfolio of games for both Steam And GOGthe latter of which has the added benefit of being DRM-free, meaning you can now pick up Baldurs Gate 3 for $47.99 (was $59.99) — a 20% discount and the lowest price we’ve seen yet for this groundbreaking work.

Existing owners can upgrade to the digital deluxe edition for $7.99 (was $9.99) this weekend, including a new D20 dice visual theme, new bard songs, an in-game “Adventurer’s Pouch” with camp supplies and potions, a very nice original soundtrack, and more.

For those who somehow seen everything in Baldurs Gate 3 — and for that we salute you of course — we recommend you to check out the other titles from Larian’s back catalogue. Our favorite pick is Divinity: Original Sin 2, another epic RPG that the developer released in 2017. If you like BG3this is a great way to scratch that itch outside the Forgotten Realms – and a great primer for what Larian could do as it explores its next non-D&D game.
