Busload of Swifties is hit by a truck on the way to Accor Stadium ahead of Taylor Swift’s Sydney concert: ‘Cannot make this up!’
A bus full of Taylor Swift fans has been involved in a collision on the way to the megastar’s first Sydney show of her Eras tour.
Dramatic images of the aftermath were shared with X (formerly Twitter) by one of the passengers earlier on Friday.
User @CarmenBartolo9’s photos showed an empty bus driver’s seat next to a damaged side mirror, along with a group of girls getting off the bus and driving along the highway’s shoulder.
In the caption of the post, she wrote: ‘CAN’T MAKE THIS UP. Our bus was hit by a truck.”
Another user replied with ‘OMG is everyone okay? I hope you can attend the concert on time. Greetings.’

The X user later replied, “Everyone is ok!! Luckily there was an almost empty bus not far behind us and we all sprinted onto it!!’
It comes as more than 300,000 Swifties are expected to descend on Sydney’s Accor Stadium this weekend for the highly anticipated Eras Tour concert.
To mark the occasion, Sydney trains have been renamed ‘Tay Tay Express’ for fans traveling to Olympic Park.

Concertgoers can also expect to listen to some of Taylor’s biggest hits blasting through the train’s loudspeaker.
Public transport will be free for card holders.

Fans were happy to see public transport getting into the Swiftie spirit: “I’m in Melbourne and I want to catch this train,” one user wrote.
“I would take the train just for this,” wrote another.
The Olympic Park will be extra busy on Friday and Saturday evenings with blink-182 performing next door at the Qudos Bank Arena.
Swift will perform four shows in Sydney from Friday February 23 to Monday February 26.
