Jeremy Hunt will present a spring budget later today that it promises to be a ‘budget for growth’, with the Chancellor aiming to get more Britons back to work after a sharp rise in economic inactivity over the past three years.

The Office for Budget Responsibility will also release its forecasts for the UK economy, which will give the Chancellor an indication of the Treasury’s ability to stimulate growth.
