A diner was caught putting his hands down his trousers as part of a stomach-churning method to try and secure a free meal.
The man in the bizarre footage was seen alone in a restaurant in Qinhuangdao, China, after ordering a plate of oysters.
But before he starts his fish meal, he is seen hurriedly lifting his top as he frantically looks around.
He tries to shove his hands down the front of his pants and pulls out some of his pubic hair with a grim tug.
As he examines his work under the table, he takes another furtive look around before reaching out to pluck an unfortunate oyster.

The customer started making a fuss when he tried to blame the restaurant staff for his hairy oyster
He quickly sprinkles the hairs on the shell and stirs the contents with a set of chopsticks from the table.
Once he is satisfied with his hairy oyster, he looks around in apparent disgust and calls over the owner of the restaurant to voice his bold complaint.
The man then started causing a scene in the eatery, insisting he had found someone else’s hair in his dish.
According to local reports, the owner refunded the customer’s meal out of embarrassment, but later began to suspect the man and quickly checked the CCTV footage of the dinner.
He was stunned by what he saw as he watched the gross moment the man secretly covered his plate with his pubic hair.
The owner then reported the incident to the local police and requested payment, but the customer allegedly refused to return the money.
The owner said: ‘I considered going to the police station to get the money back for the meal he had but despite asking for it he wouldn’t give it to me.
He just wanted a free meal. At the time, he told us it was her, so I agreed to refund the entire bill to him, and he also agreed,” he added.
It is not known whether police managed to catch the customer and whether he is facing any legal consequences from the disturbing incident.
The video circulated on Chinese social media site Weibo, triggering an avalanche of comments from disgusted users.
One of them noted: “Such repeat offenders of extortion should be reported to public security organs and severely punished in accordance with the law, as long as there is convincing evidence.”
Another said: ‘Embarrassing.’
Another added: “If a customer doesn’t pay, call the police station immediately.”
The clip has been viewed more than 140,000 times since it was published on March 5.
