(Okay, that's enough Christmas language.)

Burnley announce their line-up!

Just one change from the Clarest side who beat Fulham 2-0!

Mike Tresor replaces Jacob Bruun Larsen out wide, who falls to the bench.

Liverpool from 11 released: FIVE changes

Jurgen Klopp has made five changes to the side that drew against Arsenal.

In defense, Jarell Quansah comes on for Ibrahima Konate while, as expected, Joe Gomez takes the place of Kostas Tsimikas.

In midfield, Harvey Elliott and Ryan Gravenberch take the place of Curtis Jones and Dominkc Szoboszlai.

There was only one change up front: Darwin Nunez came in for Luis Diaz, while Cody Gakpo probably shifted to the left flank.

Burnley can win with their backs against the wall

Burnley showed their mettle last time out when they beat Fulham 2-0 at Craven Cottage.

Despite having just seven shots and 34 percent possession, they were deadly when necessary.

Second half goals from Wilson Odobert and Sander Berge gave them the win and provided a blueprint for how they could get something out of today's match.

Vincent Kompany clearly wants to play beautiful football, but could something more robust be the answer to their struggles?

Dejan Lovren defends Mo Salah after the Christmas reaction

Dejan Lovren has jumped to the defense of his friend Mohamed Salah.

The Liverpool winger was criticized online after posting his annual Christmas photo of his family despite being Muslim.

Stick handling is an essential part of a high-profile football lifestyle and you can imagine Salah being able to put aside all online criticism and focus on the game at hand.

Burnley's great plan to avoid trouble

Burnley have turned to some adorable recruits to help them control today's match!

I wonder if one of the teams would take them along to help track down the danger in the back…

Who still remembers this late winner?

Dramatic scenes broke out in January 2018 when Ragnar Klavan went home as the 94th-minute winner. Will it take similar late heroics today to separate the sides?

Both have been involved in some pretty eventful matches this year with huge scores – I have a feeling we could be looking at more than a 2-1!

Klopp's left-back crisis… a weakness Burnley can exploit?

Don't assume Liverpool are safe and dry today, especially as they have injury problems at the back.

Kostas Tsimikas has joined Andy Robertson on the treatment table with a broken collarbone following a collision with Jurgen Klopp during the 1-1 draw against Arsenal, leaving Jurgen Klopp lightly at left-back.

Joe Gomez is expected to come on and did well against the Gunners, but could his unfamiliarity with the position be a weakness that Burnley can exploit today?

Good afternoon!

Merry Boxing Day and welcome to Mail Sport's Burnley vs Liverpool live blog!

Jurgen Klopp's men travel to Turf Moor for their final match of 2023, knowing that a win could take them top of the Premier League table and put the pressure back on Arsenal.

Vincent Kompany's men have given Clarets fans reason to be happy with two wins in their last five. Can they upset the odds today?
