Burnley made Belgium international Mike Tresor their 12th summer signing during the closing stages of transfer deadline day.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder was rented from Genk for a season.
As reported by Mailsportthe Clarets will have an option at the end of the season to buy Tresor, who played against Vincent Kompany’s team in pre-season.
Tresor has scored nine goals and provided 33 assists for Genk over the past two seasons, and he has become the fifth Belgian in the ranks at Turf Moor.
The playmaker arrived in Britain yesterday morning for his medical treatment, after which the formalities of his stay were quickly arranged.

He told the Clarets website: ‘I feel happy, very happy. Deadline day, but I’m really happy to finally be here.
‘The project and of course the vision of the coach here, I talked to the coach for a long time and that finally convinced me to make the decision.’
Tresor started his youth career with Anderlecht before moving to the Netherlands to join NEC.
There he played 60 games before moving to the Belgian Pro League in 2021.
Burnley have yet to record their first Premier League point this season after losing to Manchester City and Aston Villa in their first two games.
