Burger King has rolled out its fan-favorite Your Way $5 meal – here’s what to expect

Burger King’s new $5 meal deal has hit restaurants — beating out McDonald’s version in several important ways.

The $5 Your Way Meal – which was last sold in 2023 for a limited time in select parts of the US – is now available in the US this summer.

Fast food fans get a choice of three sandwiches – a Whopper Jr, a Bacon Cheeseburger or Chicken Jr – plus four chicken nuggets, fries and a soft drink.

Chains are reeling from declining customer numbers as Americans fed up with two years of price increases stay away, and so is the rollout of promotions.

BK’s deal comes as McDonald’s plans a nearly identical $5 month-long meal bundle starting June 25.

Customers at the Golden Arches receive a McDouble or McChicken sandwich, fries, a soft drink and four McNuggets.

The $5 Your Way Meal lets you choose from three sandwiches – a Whopper Jr, a bacon cheeseburger or a Chicken Jr – with nuggets, fries and a drink

But fast food fans say the BK deal has significant advantages over its rival.

It will launch soon, run for ‘several’ months instead of just one month and is expected to be available at almost all outlets.

DailyMail.com reported last week that not every McDonald’s restaurant will offer the deal, with restaurants with higher labor and rental costs opting out.

We also told you that the deal will only be valid for a month from June 25 – instead of the entire summer.

‘Burger King is the king for a reason! Great that this is active for most of the summer – and I hear it’s in all restaurants, not just some,” says fast food fan Andrea Smith.

American fast food chains are in a battle to win back customers.

Wendy’s has launched a $3 breakfast meal as a fast food price war appears to be brewing.

McDonald’s missed earnings estimates in the latest quarter for the first time in two years, with the company saying consumers have “become more choosy with every dollar they spend.”
