Bunnings Warehouse and Uber Australia have joined forces to offer same-day delivery across Australia.
As many as 45 metropolitan Bunnings stores and 63 regional stores across every state and territory will offer the new service during the busy festive season.
Customers who place an order online before 2 p.m. will receive delivery before 7 p.m. that day.
Shoppers will have the opportunity to see which stores offer same-day package delivery through the online checkout and the service costs $15.
Deliveries are limited to a 15km radius of participating Bunnings stores.
The partnership comes at the perfect time as shoppers look for last-minute Christmas gifts.
Bunnings Chief Operating Officer Ryan Baker said Bunnings is committed to providing our customers with the best experience, widest range and lowest prices.
‘Some customers appreciate coming into the store to browse, talk to the team and enjoy the Bunnings experience, such as a coffee in the cafe or the sausage sizzle organized by a local community group. But for others, the convenience of delivery is preferable,” Baker said.

Duncan Petit, General Manager of Uber Direct ANZ added: ‘We’re helping Bunnings break the festive delivery freeze, giving their busy regional customers the flexibility and convenience to shop until 2pm on December 23.
‘Bunnings offers its customers great value same-day parcel delivery through Uber’s delivery network, with a flat rate for all same-day online deliveries.’
