Scared onlookers have captured the moment when an unruly man unleashes a tirade at a Bunnings associate who allegedly yelled at his wife.

The confrontation was captured at a Bunnings in Broadmeadows, 15km north of Melbourne’s CBD, and was shared on social media on Wednesday.

A man in half a yellow sweater and blue cap approaches the Bunnings employee manning the counter in the tool shop section of the warehouse.

The man accuses the employee of yelling at his wife before aggressively pushing items off the counter and hurling offensive insults at him in Arabic.

“Why are you yelling at my wife?” the man begins his tirade.

‘F*** you, fuck your sister the sl**’, the man yells.

The shocked Bunnings employee holds up both hands and does not engage in conversation with the customer.

Another Bunnings employee approaches the man and the irate customer is heard telling him to ‘get out’.

“Don’t yell, you son of a bitch,” the man continues his diatribe before another customer intervenes.

The man slams his hand on the tool shop counter and turns to leave before the video ends.

A well-known TikTok user is ‘Rizz Almosawe’ who claimed to be the man in the video.

He claimed Bunnings’ employee yelled at his wife before confronting him.

“He yelled at my wife for no reason and the customers protect my wife and call me,” he wrote.

Another TikTok user known as “Towie” defended the man’s actions, claiming he was protecting his wife.

“We’re protecting our wife anyway and to let you know there were witnesses,” Towie remarked.

“We are protecting our wife anyway and to let you know that there were witnesses who told the story and the employer was fired for his actions

“If you’re ok with someone disrespecting your wife or sister/mother for no reason at all, it’s different with us.”

“If you yell and swear at our wife for no reason, this will happen and the devil will come out.”

Daily Mail Australia understands the confrontation happened when the Bunnings team member called out to a customer after they forgot their receipt and walked off.

Bunnings managing director Matt Tyler told Daily Mail Australia he was aware of the incident and labeled the customer’s actions as “disrespectful”.

“We are aware of an incident that happened recently at our Broadmeadows store,” Mr Tyler said.

“There is nothing more important to us than the safety and well-being of our team and our customers.

“It is not okay for anyone to experience abuse in our stores and we will always take steps to protect our team from disrespectful behavior.”

However, some social media users saw the brighter side of the terrifying incident.

TikTok commenters joked that the man reacted aggressively for not getting a discount or upset that the famous Bunnings sausage was not available.

“If they don’t beat it by 10 percent,” one person commented.

“His power pass to Bunning’s account was low,” a second person wrote.

“When you find out there’s no more sausage on it,” a third added.

A fourth person joked, “when you wait in line and the guy in front gets the last snag.”
