Bunnings chemical spill nightmare: Woman has difficulty breathing as Hazmat crew rush to shop
- Hazmat teams rushed to the Bunnings on Thursday night
A woman is treated for breathing problems after a chemical spill at a Bunnings store in Sydney.
Firefighters and hazardous materials crews rushed to the store in Balgowlah in the north of the city early Thursday evening after reports of a chlorine leak.
It is understood the spill, which occurred at about 6pm, has been contained, but a trailer loaded with pallets of chemicals including acids, chlorine and aerosols must be unloaded before it can be cleaned up.
More to follow.
