Building COLLPASES in the Bronx as dramatic footage shows families’ homes ripped open after six-story complex crumbles

A six-story building appeared to crumble to the ground Monday afternoon in the Bronx, resulting in a scene of destruction with a pile of rubble underneath.
The apartment complex in the Morris Heights neighborhood partially collapsed around 3:30 p.m., FDNY confirmed.
Video from the Citizen App showed the bare walls of several units in the building in full view.
A ground-floor shed at the base of the building was surrounded by a pile of sheet metal, bricks and metal bars.
Rescue crews equipped with police dogs arrived on the scene of the collapsed building, looking for residents who may still be trapped.

The incident occurred at 1915 Billingsly Terrace in Morris Heights
No injuries were reported as of 4:30 p.m
The NYPD advised the public to avoid the area of West Burnside Avenue between Osborne Place and Phelan Place in the Bronx.
New York City Emergency Management also warned of traffic delays and road closures in the area.
As of 4:30 p.m., no injuries had been reported.
