Buffalo Bills share incredible video showing transformation of Highmark Stadium after hardcore fans cleared the snow away for $20-an-hour for huge Kansas City Chiefs showdown

After Western New York was consistently blanketed in snow over the past week, the Buffalo Bills shared a video on social media showing Highmark Stadium being cleared of winter debris and provided with pristine playing conditions.

The entire stadium was cleared in time for the Bills’ epic meeting with the Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday night in the AFC Divisional round.

Clearing Highmark Stadium for the postseason game involved not only Buffalo staff, but also fans who earned $20 an hour to clear snow from under the seats and in the aisles.

The video shows snow removal starting on Thursday, with every part of the site covered in snow. It ends with the Sunday morning shot in which almost everything has disappeared.

Large amounts of snowfall are nothing new to those in the Buffalo area, and the Herculean task of clearing snow from a site the size of an NFL football stadium is a tremendous feat.

It was the second week in a row that Highmark Stadium had to clear snow with all hands on deck.

Before the Bills’ Wild Card beat the Steelers, fans also helped clear the stadium of snow before the 31-17 victory.

For three of the past four seasons, the Bills have hosted postseason play in the Divisional round, which recently led to a lot of snow removal before January games.

Bills fans know how important tonight’s game against the Chiefs is with all the history between the teams.

It can be considered their civic duty to get Highmark Stadium in as ideal a condition as possible before some of them jump and throw flaming tables.
