Budding chef Brooklyn Beckham signs fresh deal to endorse £500 brand of Air Fryer
Up-and-coming chef Brooklyn Beckham has signed a new deal to back a £500 Air Fryer brand.
The son of David and Victoria Beckham took to Instagram on Tuesday to promote the product and show fans how it works.
The 24-year-old was dressed in a black knit sweater as he cooked a simple chicken wing recipe in the Typhur Air Fryer.
In the caption he wrote: ‘Excited to start a new partnership with @Typhur_culinary, a company that combines cooking science and technology. Here’s a sneak peak of their new Dome air fryer. More to come!’
It comes after Brooklyn discussed his passion for cooking after being criticized for his ‘disastrous’ kitchen lessons.

In a Michelin Guide video posted to his Instagram, the wannabe “chef,” 24, said being in the kitchen helped him “take his mind off things.”
He also revealed his and wife Nicola Peltz’s favorite food while discussing his LA tribe’s “food scene.”
The son of David and Victoria Beckham started the video by discussing his early memories of cooking with his famous parents.
He said: ‘I grew up in London, I used to go to the pub all the time, and we used to follow my dad playing football.
‘I didn’t drink because I was too young, but I used to have the pie and mash and fish and chips in the newspaper with vinegar.’
However, his taste has matured over the years and he says: ‘My wife and I are obsessed, our favorite food is Japanese, the way the Japanese handle food, they are so careful and so precise’.
Brooklyn then spoke passionately about the kitchen, telling his followers, “I love cooking because it’s one of the few things that takes my mind off everything that’s going on.”
He continued, “One of the many things I love about chefs is that they are so artistic, they work so hard, and they are always trying to master their craft every day, every minute of every hour .
Last week, Brooklyn left fans in stitches when he filmed yet another cooking video with a huge hole in his sweatpants after coming under fire for his tutorials.
He shared a video on Instagram showing step-by-step how to make a grilled cheese sandwich.
Unimpressed fans were quick to roast the star for his ‘boring’ and ‘unnecessary’ tutorial, while others couldn’t help but notice his fashion faux pas in the video.
In the comments section, they quickly shared their confusion about why he had filmed with a hole in his pants.

One wrote: ‘There seems to be something wrong with the trousers’, while another asked: ‘Are there a hole in your trousers or am I tripping?’
A third said: ‘The hole is distracting me,’ and a fourth added: ‘I love the easily accessible hole in your sweatpants.’
In the tutorial, he fried a sandwich in a frying pan to make sure it was crispy, while adding mushrooms and ham.
The video received mixed reviews from fans, with one joking it was a “culinary masterpiece” with several laughing emojis.
Another added: ‘Burning pieces of toast. So unnecessary,” while a third said: “God this is completely cringe-worthy and boring.”
A fourth wrote: ‘Wow. You burned the bread. So unnecessary.’
However, others praised the young chef for his skills, with one commenting: ‘I have to do this for dinner this week. Looking awesome.’
Brooklyn has mostly been cooking for Instagram videos in recent years, as he shares basic tips with his followers on meals like burgers and sandwiches.
But he admitted to Bustle in a recent interview, “I’m not a professional chef at all.”
‘I never said that. I would never say that. Obviously my father (retired footballer David Beckham) knew what he was doing from a very young age. I haven’t been cooking for three years yet.’
Brooklyn’s latest post came after he was branded ‘out of touch’ by irate fans for using truffle with lavish ingredients to prepare a tagliatelle in his latest cooking tutorial.
In the video, Brooklyn also appeared to take inspiration from his father with his top, as he wore a red England number seven shirt, which David himself inherited.
In the caption, he expressed his love for truffle, which he used liberally to create the dish, writing, “There’s no such thing as too much truffle in my kitchen.”
But he was criticized by social media users for using the luscious ingredient, who claimed it was ‘out of reach’ to do so amid a cost of living crisis.

Commenting on his post, someone said: ‘I wish I could buy into the idea that there’s no such thing as too much truffle.’
Another fumed, “We are in a cost of living crisis in Brooklyn.”
According to 2021 estimates, the winter black truffle has an average price of $20.49 per ounce, while the burgundy black truffle is priced at $24.93 per ounce and the summer black truffle is worth $22.57 per ounce. It is not known which type of truffle Brooklyn used.
A third wrote: ‘He needs to get to his audience. Most people cannot afford truffles. I have worked as a chef, very basic what he does. I would love to see him work in a restaurant kitchen and see how he would do it.”
While a fourth added: ‘These people live in a different world. Most people can barely afford food at the moment and this boy keeps talking about truffles.’
The cooking clip showed Brooklyn making a brand new sauce, using ingredients like flour, grated garlic, oil and cheese.
He then generously added slices of truffle to the creamy sauce, which he heated in a pan while he cooked his tagliatelle pasta separately.
