Bryce Harper’s talents extend far beyond the diamond, as was discovered Saturday night by a grateful Phillies family.

Prior to Philadelphia’s game against Kansas City, seven-year-old Phillies fan, Caleb, had become separated from his brothers while trying to take photos with the hometown players.

Seeing the distressed Caleb, Harper stepped into father mode and comforted the young boy, sitting with him before reuniting Caleb and his two brothers, according to NBC Sports Philly reporter Taryn Hatcher.

Plus, Harper posed for a photo with the boys, giving them a fairytale start to their day.

Harper thrilled the trio over the next several hours by hitting a home run and going 3-for-4.
