The attorney representing mass murder suspect Bryan Kohberger is the public defender for Kootenai County, who previously vacated a murder conviction after discovering “false statements” from Idaho police.

Anne Taylor, 57, has already sent a team of investigators to the home on Kings Road in Idaho to begin a crime scene reconstruction before Kohberger’s return to the state.

He was released from the Monroe County Correctional Center at 6 am this morning and transferred to the custody of the Pennsylvania State Police, who are handling his transportation back to Idaho.

Taylor and a team of four other people visited the house where the bloody murders occurred Tuesday, the same day Kohberger waived his extradition in court.

Taylor worked on the case of Jonathan Ellington, who was accused of using his car to strike a woman in a road rage incident. Now represents Kohberger

He has worked for the Kootenai County Public Defender’s Office since 2004 and was assigned the lead position in 2017 after John Adams retired.

Taylor worked on the case of Jonathan Ellington, who was accused of using his car to strike a woman in a road rage incident.

Ellington, who was 45 at the time, was convicted and sentenced to 25 years for the crime, before it was vacated due to ‘false testimony’ by an Idaho police officer.

At the time, Taylor said that Rise was “instrumental in the verdict” for Ellington, adding that he had a “courtroom presence.”

Fred Rice was charged with lying to the court in connection with the incident, and Taylor represented Ellington throughout.

He was later convicted of the charges again during a second trial, after the Supreme Court ruled that Rice lied on the stand.

The Idaho native graduated from the university, where the four victims were studying, with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a master’s degree in public administration.

He then earned a Ph.D. from the same establishment, before practicing law at the federal, state, and local levels.

Speaking when she took over as Senior Public Defender, she said: ‘It’s such a necessary job.

‘It is important to make sure that constitutional rights apply to everyone. You help people who are facing horrible times. I love the job.

Moscow Police Chief James Fry confirmed at a press conference Friday that the cleanup plan was canceled due to a court order related to the arrest of Bryan Kohberger.

Kohberger signed his own extradition waiver in a Pennsylvania court on Tuesday.

On Friday, the criminal justice graduate student was arrested in connection with the murders of Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, Madison Mogen, 21, and Ethan Chapin, 20.

Taylor was not available for comment when contacted by DailyMail.com, and an Idaho judge issued a gag order for the legal teams and law enforcement working on the case.

His team spent about 45 minutes taking video footage inside and outside the property.

Four of the investigators left the property, but one crime scene reconstruction analyst remained.

It is unusual for state-paid defense attorneys to create a crime scene reconstruction.

Meanwhile, Kohberger’s parents have insisted they don’t have the money for a private lawyer.

The investigation of the house comes after the court ordered a halt to a cleanup mission, when it was announced that authorities had made an arrest in the chilling case.

The photos show that an Idaho State Trooper accompanied the group when they attended the property.

He was arrested after the FBI tracked him for four days near his parents’ Pennsylvania home, and authorities identified the suspect based on genetic genealogy.

The suspect’s father, Michael Kohberger, is shown arriving at the courthouse wearing a summer hat to hide his face.

Kohberger’s therapist sister, Melissa, attended the extradition hearing Tuesday with her parents.

Former homicide detective and attorney Ted Williams said: “The fact that Bryan Kohberger’s attorney has retained private investigators to review this crime scene leads me to believe that he is definitely going to mount a strong defense.”
