Bryan Brown and Susan Sarandon Star Together in Stan’s Hilarious New Original Series C*A*U*G*H*T, Premiering Sept. 28

Thelma and Louise Hollywood legend Susan Sarandon will star alongside beloved Australian favorite Bryan Brown in Stan’s new Original series C*A*U*G*H*T.

The hilarious new satirical comedy focuses on a major diplomatic issue between Australia and the US and premieres September 28 on Stan.

Produced by Oscar winner Sean Penn and Australian actor Kick Gurry, who also stars and directs, the show’s plot revolves around a hostage video that goes viral.

The story begins when a small group of Australian soldiers are captured after embarking on a mission to the small war-torn country of Behati-Prinsloo, a fictional island nation.

Unfortunately, the four soldiers are mistaken for Americans by local freedom fighters, who keep them captive.

But then the Australian hostages become global internet stars when their abduction video goes viral. And they realize that being held captive is a gateway to fame.

In a new preview, Bryan Brown plays Australia’s Prime Minister, while Susan Sarandon plays US Secretary of State Alaska Adams.

The pair get into a ridiculous verbal frenzy as they try to outsmart each other as they argue over the best way to contain the embarrassing kidnapping video.

After Sarandon’s Ice Queen official “officially” informs the Prime Minister of the supposedly “secret” incident, Brown’s dude Prime Minister tells her, “That’s damn nice of you.”
