Australian radio host Kent ‘Smallzy’ Small has been left humiliated after being rejected by actor Eddie Murphy on the red carpet in LA.

The Nova FM radio host, 39, flew all the way to Hollywood from Australia to interview the star at the premiere of his upcoming comedy film Candy Cane Lane.

Unfortunately, Smallzy only had a few seconds to talk to Murphy before quickly walking past him.

Smallzy shares a video of the awkward encounter, shouting “Eddie! Merry Christmas from Australia,” as Murphy hurried past him.

The actor, 62, rolled his eyes at the media and replied: “Merry Christmas.”

Smallzy turned back to the camera with a bewildered look, before smiling and exclaiming, “I get it!”

The radio star posted the moment to his Instagram account, where the video played in slow motion.

Murphy and his fiancée Paige Butcher were seen hanging out at the premiere of Candy Cane Lane in Los Angeles on Tuesday night.

The comedian and his longtime partner, 44, put on a loving show as they walked the red carpet in style.

Murphy, who stars in the holiday-themed film with Tracee Ellis Ross, wore a satin, ivory Gucci bomber with red, black and white trim.

It was layered over a black turtleneck and he added black pants and shiny black shoes.

For her part, Paige, an Australian actress, wore a black blazer dress with cutouts on the sides.

Her dirty blonde hair was parted at the side and swept into a sleek, straight style that fell over her chest.

She wore a diamond necklace and drew attention to her short, nude-pink manicure with her beautiful engagement ring.

She put on a leggy show in a pair of sheer black tights and thigh-high suede black boots with a pointed toe.

The longtime couple, who started dating in 2012, were all smiles as they posed for photos.

Paige is the mother of Eddie’s eighth and ninth children.
