Bruno Guimaraes has insisted he is happy at Newcastle United despite being linked with a move away from the club.
Guimaraes has been in fine form and registered an excellent brace during the Magpies’ 3-2 win over Nottingham Forest on Saturday.
The Brazilian midfielder has been involved in five goals in his last five games, scoring twice and providing three assists.
Since signing for Eddie Howe’s side, Guimaraes has been a central part of their team and has developed an incredible relationship with the fans.
He paid tribute to this bond with the Newcastle faithful and also claimed he was ‘very happy’ on Tyneside.

Speaking to Sky Sports after the match, Guimaraes said: ‘Sometimes people talk a lot about me, all I think about is football.
‘I am happy here, I do my best at this club. I like the way the fans like me, so I concentrate on my football and let the people do their talking.
‘Sometimes (people say I’m leaving Newcastle). I am very happy here, enjoy it very much. I’ve never felt so much love for the fans as I do here.
“They were incredible for me and my family, so I try to play for the fans. So I hope I can continue working here as long as possible.’
Newcastle are reportedly considering selling Guimaraes in the summer if Barcelona or Real Madrid make an offer.
However, if Premier League rivals such as Liverpool or Chelsea come in, they will be expected to pay his full £100 million release clause.
