Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming marks daughter Mabel’s 12th birthday with sweet snap of youngster with actor amid his dementia battle: ‘Keep shining bright’
Bruce Willis’ wife Emma Heming paid a sweet tribute to their daughter Mabel Ray on her 12th birthday this week.
Heming, 45, shared a tribute Instagram with a reel of the birthday boy on a series of fun outings. Heming and Willis, 69, – who struggles with dementia – also share daughter Evelyn Penn, nine.
“That’s all you, Mabel Ray. Happy 12th birthday. Keep shining bright,” Heming wrote in the caption.
The video, which was set to Coldplay’s ‘Adventure of a Lifetime’, featured Mabel dancing around and showing off her personality in different settings.
She cuddled up to her mother in one clip, and the montage also included a black-and-white photo of her leaning on her father’s shoulder.

“She’s so you,” one follower wrote in the comments, to which the mom responded, “And she clearly has Bruce’s FUN gene!”
In the comments, one of Heming’s 940,000 followers noted, “A year away from being a teenager.”
“I was sure we were already there,” Heming responded with some laughing emojis.

Since the Die Hard star was diagnosed with aphasia in 2022, which progressed to frontotemporal dementia the following year, Heming has opened up about their family’s journey with his condition.
Last week, Heming celebrated her 15th wedding anniversary with Willis and shared a sweet tribute to her husband.
‘Today we celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary!’ she wrote. ‘And today I can make a choice. I can wallow in sadness or I can celebrate. I call this the ‘remarkable reframe’.
‘What I know is that there is so much to celebrate. Our unity and connection is probably stronger than ever,” Heming added.
‘We have two smart, fun and healthy daughters. We have a family unit built on mutual respect and admiration,” she continued. “And simply, I just love the man I married.”
