Bruce Willis was in a good mood when he had lunch with a friend on Wednesday afternoon.

The 67-year-old actor was spotted leaving the Brentwood Country Mart after his meal.

The actor announced in March that he would retire from acting, although he still has several films waiting to be released.

Willis was spotted wearing a gray polo shirt and a matching gray New York City baseball cap.

He also wore blue jeans and white sneakers for his Wednesday afternoon lunch outing.

The outing also came after news that the role that made him a star – the hit ABC series Moonlighting – will soon be coming to an unspecified streaming service.

Willis only had a handful of uncredited and guest-starred roles on shows like Miami Vice and Twilight Zone: The Series when he was cast as David Addison Jr. next to Cybil Shepherd in Moonlighting.

The hit series followed a former police detective and a former model who together run a private detective agency, which ran for five seasons between 1985 and 1989.

While the show has propelled both Willis and Shepherd to stardom, the show has been oddly absent from the digital/streaming landscape, though creator Glenn Gordon Caron recently revealed that could be changing soon.

Caron took to Twitter on Wednesday and teased, “CAT’S OUTTA THE BAG. I can’t keep it under my hat any longer – the case to get all 5 seasons of “Moonlighting” starring Bruce Willis and Cybill Shepherd ready for streaming has begun!’

‘It is an ambitious project. Lots of moving parts. And it can take quite a while. But I wanted you to be the first to know,” he added in another tweet.

“No word yet on where or when you’ll see it — but it’s happening!” he teased.

Towards the end of Moonlighting’s run, Willis landed the role of John McClane in the 1988 classic Die Hard, making him a household name.

The actor’s family announced in March that the actor suffers from aphasia, while announcing his retirement.

There were also reports last month that Willis had sold his digital likeness to a deepfake company called Deepcake to use his image in movies, though his representatives later claimed that Willis “has no partnership or agreement with this Deepcake company.”
