Bruce Willis’ blended family celebrates Easter weekend with festivities

Bruce Willis’ blended family came together to celebrate Easter weekend with a backyard Easter egg hunt — amid the 68-year-old retired actor’s battle with dementia.

The Sixth Sense star’s loved ones — including wife Emma Heming, ex Demi Moore and their daughters — marked the holiday with a fun party in the garden, with the festivities captured on video by Heming.

The clip showed the couple’s daughters, Mabel, 11, and Evelyn, eight, standing by colorful baskets as they prepared to begin the hunt.

Willis’ daughters with Moore, 60, Tallulah, 29, Scout, 31, and pregnant Rumer, 34, were also in attendance.

Emma captioned her clip, “We’re in to win it!” and wrote ‘Go! To go! To go!’ when the hunt began.

It’s been a rough year emotionally for the blended Willis family, in the wake of his frontotemporal dementia (FTD) diagnosis, which came in February.

Just 11 months earlier, the family revealed that the former Moonlighting star was diagnosed with aphasia and would retire from acting.

“Bruce’s condition has progressed and we now have a more specific diagnosis: frontotemporal dementia,” Emma wrote in a Feb. 16 post. “Unfortunately, communication problems are just one symptom of the illness Bruce faces. That’s painful, but it’s a relief to finally have a clear diagnosis.’

Willis began his career in entertainment in 1980 with an uncredited role in the movie The First Deadly Sin, starring Frank Sinatra and Faye Dunaway, and a role in the TV movie A Guru Comes.

The hit series Moonlighting (1985-1989) is considered his big break that opened doors to become one of the best A-list actors in the world.

Emma and Bruce just celebrated their 14th wedding anniversary in March, although it’s up to Emma and Bruce which day they prefer.

In 2009, they got married in the Turks and Caicos Islands on March 21, but it wasn’t legally binding, so they got married again six days later in a civil ceremony in Beverly Hills.

The longtime Hollywood main man also has three daughters – Rumer, 34, Scout, 31, and Tallulah, 29, who he shares with ex-wife Demi Moore.

Bruce celebrated his 68th birthday last month with all his daughters by his side, as well as Emma and Moore.

“It was a good day,” Emma captioned a family photo.

‘He is pure love. He is so loved. And I will always love him. Happy birthday my love,” she wrote in another tribute to her husband.
