Bruce Springsteen has postponed all his remaining 2023 concerts until next year as he recovers from a stomach ulcer.

The message read: ‘Bruce Springsteen has continued to recover steadily from a stomach ulcer in recent weeks and will continue treatment for the rest of the year as advised by a doctor.

With this in mind and out of an abundance of caution, all remaining 2023 tour dates for Bruce Springsteen and The E Street Band will be postponed until 2024.

“Rescheduled dates for each of the 2023 shows, including those postponed earlier this month, will be announced next week and will all take place at the originally planned locations.

‘All tickets for postponed performances remain valid for the newly announced dates.

Springsteen said, “Thank you to all my friends and fans for your well wishes, encouragement and support. I’m on the mend and can’t wait to see you all next year.’

Peptic ulcer disease “occurs when open sores or ulcers form in the stomach or first part of the small intestine,” according to Cleveland Clinic.

‘Many cases of stomach ulcers arise because a bacterial infection eats away at the protective lining of the digestive system. People who regularly use painkillers have a greater risk of developing stomach ulcers.’

Treatment for stomach ulcers may include medication or surgery.

Springsteen was scheduled to play another 14 shows in Canada and the US from November 3 to December 12.

These shows join another 15 concert dates that were postponed due to the star’s illness.

He was then scheduled to take the stage at Vancouver’s Rogers Arena on November 3.

Earlier this month, the star announced that he had postponed the rest of his September shows due to his health concerns.

The music icon said at the time that he was undergoing treatment for “symptoms of stomach ulcers.”

In May, Springsteen inadvertently made his show in Amsterdam that fans won’t soon forget after taking a major fall on stage.

The I’m On Fire singer left fans in stitches when he tripped and fell after climbing several steps on stage.

Fans watched as The Boss rolled onto his back and lay on the ground with his guitar still in hand before his concerned colleagues promptly rushed over to help him.

His guitarist intervened to remove his instrument while two concert staff manually hoisted Bruce back onto his feet.

Fortunately, the fall didn’t faze Bruce too much. To allay his fans’ concerns, Bruce gave a quick smile before addressing the crowd.
