Browns player arrested on drunk-driving charge after allegedly crashing his SUV into a Florida RESTAURANT
A Cleveland Browns player has been arrested in Key West, Florida on charges of driving under the influence after allegedly crashing his SUV into a local restaurant.
Defensive lineman Lonnie Phelps was arrested by Key West police Wednesday at 8:47 p.m. at the Red Shoe Island Bistro, where his SUV crashed into the island’s trendy hotspot.
Police say they found the black Hyundai wedged in the building. Phelps and his girlfriend were both identified by witnesses, according to police, who say the couple was uncooperative.
