Cleveland linebacker Anthony Walker Jr. was ejected from the field for a left knee injury during Thursday-evening’s home game of the Browns against the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Walker left with 10:34 am left in the third quarter. The Browns ruled him out a short time later.
It was revealed that he has had X-rays of his knee and will have an MRI on Friday. For the time being, Walker was diagnosed with a sprained knee, pending further investigation.

Walker was punched in the face by the Pittsburgh Steelers who tackled Chukwuma Okorafor on a passing play and fell awkwardly onto the turf.
Okorafor then dove on Walker’s back while guard James Daniels accidentally stepped on Walker’s legs.
Walker was Cleveland’s second linebacker to be injured in the third quarter. Jeremiah Owusu-Koramoah left with a quadriceps injury and the Browns called him doubtful of returning.
Cleveland defensive tackle Taven Bryan (hamstring) was also doubtful to return.

After Walker was injured, fans on social media shouted out Okorafor for what appeared to be an obviously dirty piece.
Fox’s John Sabol tweeted: “No idea how the umpires missed this obvious penalty on a defenseless and injured Anthony Walker. He left shortly after with a right knee injury. Dirty, bush league game from #Steelers’ Chukwuma Okorafor. Terrible look. smh.’
A Pittsburgh supporter denounced their players’ actions, writing, “I’m a die-hard Steelers fan. From birth to death. But what Chukwuma Okorafor just did there is literally disgusting. Prayers for Anthony Walker.’

Another warned Okorafor to leave Cleveland ASAP, as they said, “Judging by my Twitter. It’s best that Okorafor is the best bet to hear straight to Hopkins Airport after the game. Don’t even shower…just fucking from Cleveland’
“That is absolutely inappropriate by Okorafor. Absolutely inappropriate,” added another social media user.
The Browns were still able to secure a win even with the injuries they sustained in defense. Cleveland can attribute much of the 29-17 win to an efficient display from quarterback Jacoby Brissett and the rest of the offense.
